Experience
David Browne is an associate in the Trials and Appeals practice of MGM Law, where he focuses on representing both individuals and businesses in several areas of litigation and disputes. He joined Meyer, Goergen & Marrs after several years of specialized practice in liability and workers’ compensation defense, and brings with him significant investigation and trial experience.
David earned his bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania and his law degree from the College of William & Mary, where he attended as a graduate research fellow and served as an Associate Articles Editor of the Law Review and member of the Bill of Rights Journal. While serving on the Law Review, David published Treating the Pen and the Sword as Constitutional Equals: How and Why the Supreme Court Should Apply its First Amendment Expertise to the Great Second Amendment Debate, 44 WM. & MARY L. REV. 2287 (2003).
After graduating in 2003, David served as a judicial law clerk at the Supreme Court of Virginia’s Department of Legal Research, advising and assisting trial court judges throughout the Commonwealth.
