Experience
Mr. Simmons is a seasoned litigator and represents a wide variety of clients in commercial litigation matters and construction disputes. He has extensive experience in business partnership disputes and matters involving fraud and other business torts, as well as covenants not-to-compete, contract matters, commercial landlord/tenant disputes and real estate litigation. Mr. Simmons also regularly advises clients in franchising matters and litigates cases involving franchise agreements.
Mr. Simmons also successfully assists clients with difficult contested family law matters such as divorce, custody and visitation, as well as guardianship matters. The divorce matters Mr. Simmons handles frequently involve business valuation issues.
Mr. Simmons is a graduate of the University of Virginia Law School, where he was Executive Editor of the Virginia Law Review and recognized for performance in the top 10% of his class with membership in the Order of the Coif.
